In short

This page announces Probenna, nothing more. It sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device, uses no analytics or advertising tools and loads nothing from other servers, not even fonts. We only process what is needed to deliver the page to you, and what you write to us by email.

Hosting

The page runs on a server of Hetzner Online GmbH (Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany) in a data centre in Germany. Hetzner processes the data on our behalf under a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR).

Visiting the page

When you open the page, your browser necessarily sends your IP address, the time, the address requested, details about your browser and operating system (user agent) and your preferred language. Our web server only needs these details to deliver the page. It uses the preferred language to decide whether you see the German or the English version.

We keep no access log: the web server does not store these details, not even when an error occurs. Legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is being able to deliver the page.

Domain and DNS

Name resolution (DNS) for probenna.com, probenna.de and probenna.eu is run by Cloudflare, Inc. (101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). To find the server, your DNS resolver, usually your internet provider's, asks Cloudflare for the address. Cloudflare normally only sees that resolver's IP address, not yours, unless you use Cloudflare as your resolver yourself. The page itself does not run through Cloudflare; Cloudflare sees neither content nor page visits. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

Emailing us

If you write to hello@probenna.com, we process your email address, your name and the content of your message to answer you. Incoming mail is received by Cloudflare Email Routing and forwarded to our mailbox at Google Workspace (Google Ireland Ltd., Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Cloudflare does not store the content. Both providers process the mail on our behalf; data may be transferred to the USA, safeguarded by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where your message concerns a contract or steps towards one, otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (answering your request). We delete the mails once your request is settled, unless we have to keep them as business correspondence (up to six years, § 257 HGB, § 147 AO).

Your rights

Within the legal requirements you have the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). To do so, write to us at hello@probenna.com.
